Happy "Tails" from Caring for Cats: Jackie (fka Jacquelyn)

Dear friends at Caring for Cats,

As you can see last week I learned how to use the computer so I can finally send a well deserved thank you. Maggie the other cat helped a little bit.  She actually has thumbs so she can type faster than I can. 

I wanted to say thank you to all the volunteers who took care of me while I was waiting for my forever home. The shelter was nice, don’t get me wrong, but a little crowded and here I have lots of sunny spots and laps all to myself. 

As I said there is another cat here named Maggie (apparently, she lived in the shelter about 8 years ago) and she has finally decided that I am worthy of her attention and will run with me every now and then.  She is a little stuffy at times and needs to get a sense of humor but she’s coming around.

There is also a big hairy thing here, (I think they call it a dog) named Brady.  He is very fun because he will let me chase him everywhere and doesn’t just lay there like Maggie.  If you look in the right corner of the window you can almost see him.  That is Maggie on the bed, I might just
be sitting in her window but there are plenty of them
to pick from so she can find another space. 

Every one here is so nice and they really love me a lot, even if I do occasionally sneeze boogers everywhere.  I get my medicine every
day and they are taking very good care of me.

Well, that’s all for now.  I’m going to stretch out on the couch and take a nap.

P.S.  Yesterday another little furry thing showed up.  It is very small and lives in a cage
and looks like it would be so much fun to play with and possibly tasty.  They won‘t let me anywhere near it.
